IGNOU offers admission in two academic sessions. IGNOU MBA admission process will begin soon for the academic session 2026. All those who are interested must fulfill eligibility criteria. Admission for MBA programmes has completely online procedure. Eligible students can apply through the official website. IGNOU has an application fee compulsory to pay while submitting application form. The starting date to apply for admission in the MBA program is expected to be 15 December 2025*.
Eligibility Criteria For IGNOU MBA Admission 2026
If any student or working personnel is interested in pursuing an MBA Programme from IGNOU, then they must complete eligibility requirements. Every interested student should hold a Bachelor degree with securing minimum 50% marks. Students belonging to reserved category get relaxation in minimum passing marks and need only 45% marks in their bachelor’s exam to be eligible. Every student must have a DEB ID as it is a mandatory requirement to study through distance education mode. It is advised to students to create a DEB ID before starting admission procedure.

Follow these simple steps to experience a convenient aIGNOUnd smooth application procedure
- Step 01: Students need to go to authorized website of and apply from there. They have another option to directly go on Samarth Admission Portal of IGNOU.
- Step 02: Then click on ‘New User Registration’ and create your account. You will receive credentials on registered Email Id
- Step 03: Now again go to the admission portal and login as an existing user with credentials received on mail.
- Step 04: You can now access application form. Start filling it with your required personal details.
- Step 05: After this, fill required academic details
- Step 06: Then upload all documents required in support of your application
- Step 07: Preview every filled details once again to check and rectify for mistakes
- Step 08: Now pay fees (application and programme) and submit application form
- Step 09: In next step, IGNOU will verify all details and documents uploaded. Once verified they will send admission confirmation mail on registered Email ID.
