IGNOU BLIS Programme Course details
BLIS stands for Bachelor of Library and Information Science. It helps students to learn how to run and organise libraries well. The programme focuses on teaching about libraries and Information resources like data handling, indexing, preservation management, information architecture, and so on. - They should have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks (for general). SC/ST/OBC/PH category students get a relaxation of 5% in their aggregate marks.
- Bachelor’s degree with one year of diploma in Library Science.

- Step 02: Create a new account under ‘New User Registration’ and save credentials (Username and Password)
- Step 03: Now login again on same portal with credentials as existing user. Access application form and select programme
- Step 04: Fill application form with required personal and academic details
- Step 05: Upload relevant documents to support you provided details
- Step 06: Check for any corrections before going further in your application
- Step 07: Pay required fees and submit your application. Download acknowledgement slip for future reference
