To be eligible, every student must have passed 10th and 12th standard or its equivalent from any recognised board of Education. IGNOU BCom Admission Process 2026-27
IGNOU BCom admission process will start soon for the January 2026-27 academic year. Before applying for admission, you have to follow these steps, which are given below:
- Step 1: Students can directly apply by clicking here, www.ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in or they can visit the official website for the same.
- Step 2: If students are applying through the official website, check for the ‘admission section’ and then click on ‘Apply for ODL Programmes’.
- Step 3: Once admission portal opens, click on New Registration. Create an account by filling a registration form with basic details. (Fill with your personal Email Id & Phone number).
- Step 4: After successfully registering, an Username and password will be created as credentials. Use that to re-login as registered user.
- Step 5: Access and fill application form with all personal details like your Name, residential address, Phone Number, etc.
- Step 6: Now fill your education details (10th, 12th, Graduation, and so on)
- Step 7: In next step, select the course you’re interested in, upload all required documents as proof.
- Step 8: Preview your application one last time to check for corrections.
- Step 9: Pay programme and registration fee. Submit Application form at last.
- Step 10: Then, University will verify your details and documents. Once everything is verified, you will receive an admission confirmation mail. Check website regularly for admission related updates and notifications.

IGNOU BCom Admission Cancellation Policy 2026
If any student wants to withdraw or cancel their admission then it is not an issue to worry about. IGNOU offers an admission cancellation policy with a few conditions. First of all, the application fee is non refundable. Students who cancel their admission before its confirmation, then they get a complete refund of programme and development fee. Students who withdraw after confirmation of admission then they will get a refund after deduction of 20% in programme fee. Those students who withdraw admission after closing date, then they are not subject to any kind of refund. If a student who has got scholarship withdraws admission, then only development fee will be refunded to them.
