IGNOU BBA Admission 2026: IGNOU opens an admission window for multiple courses in Undergraduate and Postgraduate every year. Admissions for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme are going to open soon. It is a 2 year UG programme with 3 years of course duration. Total programme fee of BBA course is INR 10,300 per year. Eligible students can apply for admission by filling a registration form available online at IGNOU’s official website. IGNOU BBA Admission 2026

IGNOU offers admission in two sessions – January and July. IGNOU BBA admission will start soon for the January 2026 session. Candidates can take hassle-free admission as there is no need to visit University not a single time. Everything can be done online as IGNOU has a complete Online admission process. Interested candidates who are eligible can apply through official website. There is a compulsory application fee to pay and will not be refunded in any situation. The starting date (Tentative) for admission is 15 December 2025*.

Eligibility Criteria For IGNOU BBA Admission 2026

There is a basic eligibility criteria to take admission in BBA Programme at IGNOU. There is no minimum age requirement or maximum age requirement. All the students must be 10th and 12th grade pass out or its equivalent from a recognized board of education. They must have a DEB ID. Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply through official website.

IGNOU BBA Admission Fee Structure 2026

IGNOU offers an affordable fee for all its programmes, including Bachelor of Business Administration. It implements programme fee, development fee and application fee in its fee structure. Students need to pay a complete fee at the time of registration form Submission. Total programme fee for three years is INR 30,900. Application fee is non refundable and mandatory to pay. Reserved category students get relaxation in registration fee.

IGNOU BBA Admission Application Procedure 2026

Note: Before proceeding to admission form, keep in mind that it is necessary for every student to have a DEB ID. Read every detail carefully to not make any mistakes while filling form. 

  • Step 1: Go to the official website. Under admission section, click on option ‘Apply for ODL Programme’ or go directly to admission portal by clicking here www.ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
  • Step 2: If applying through website click on ‘New Registration’ and create a New account by using your personal Email and Phone number. 
  • Step 3: Now check your Email for credentials. Use it for login to portal under ‘existing user’. 
  • Step 4: Then fill an application form with required details (Personal & Academic qualification) 
  • Step 5: In next step upload mandatory documents like your photo, ID proof, signature and other documents as mentioned.
  • Step 6: After completing your form, preview it once for any correction.
  • Step 7: Pay registration fee and submit application form. Download fee acknowledgement for future use.
  • Step 8: After it, IGNOU will verify your documents and details. Once verified, you will get confirmation mail of admission on your registered Email Id.

Documents Required For IGNOU BBA Admission

Students must remember that they have to scan their documents only from the original documents.

  • Scanned copy of Proof of Identity (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned copy of relevant Academic Qualification (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Photograph of applicant (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if applicable) (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if applicable (less than 200 KB)

IGNOU BBA Admission Status 

Students who want to check their 2026 admission status need to go to the official website of IGNOU. At homepage, check for an option ‘Students services’ After clicking on it, a page with several clickable options open. Scroll down and check for ‘Know your Status’ option. After clicking on it, a new page will show up. Then click on ‘check your registration status’. Fill in required details and your status will be visible to you. 

IGNOU Admission Cancellation Policy 2026

If a student who has already taken admission in IGNOU wants to withdraw it, then there is no need to worry. IGNOU offers an admission cancellation policy under which if a student cancels before confirmation of their admission, then whole programme & development fee will be refunded. 

  • If a student cancels after confirmation of admission, then 15% of the programme fee will be deducted.
  • If a student cancels after the closing of the admission date, then no fee will be refunded. 
  • It shall be noted that in any circumstances, the application/ registration fee will not be refunded.

IGNOU BBA Scholarship & Fee Concession

IGNOU does not offer fee concession for its BBA Programme but it provides scholarships based on merit, economic condition and category of students. They can apply for Government of India Scholarships on National Scholarship Portal once their admission is confirmed. Students can directly go to NSP portal by clicking on provided link www.scholarships.gov.in/.
