Total fees of BA Psychology is INR 17,400. English is the only medium through which university delivers this programme. BA Psychology is a 3-year Undergraduate degree programme, which is divided into 6 semesters. It mainly focuses on human behaviour, emotions, thoughts and their actions. They must know that application fee is one time pay, non refundable, and mandatory. Admission procedure is fully online and there is no need to visit University for any admission related activities. Only those who are fulfilling eligibility criteria can apply for this programme. 15 December 2025 is the expected starting date of admission.

To take admission in IGNOU for BA Psychology, students must meet following eligibility requirements. They should be 10th and 12th passed from a recognized University or its equivalent. DEB ID is a compulsory requirement for admission in all distance and online courses. Students can create it anytime by following a simple procedure. All eligible students can apply via authorized IGNOU website. There is no alternative option from where students can apply. 

IGNOU BA Psychology Admission Fee Structure 2026

BA Psychology Programme at IGNOU has a cheap and low cost fee structure. University has divided fees into two parts which primarily includes development fee and programme fee. There is also an application/registration fee which differs for students from General Category (INR 300) and Students from SC/ST/OBC Category (INR 150).

• Step 1: Go to the authorised website of IGNOU and apply through admission section or you can directly go to the University admission website www.ignou.samarth.edu.in/.
• Step 2: Make a new account by clicking on ‘New Registration’. Skip this step if you’ve already registered and have IGNOU credentials.
• Step 3: Now re-login using your credentials. Access registration/application form and choose your interested programme.
• Step 4: Then fill all required fields of personal details as well as academic qualification details.
• Step 5: After filling all details, upload scanned documents (personal & academic) in JPG or JPEG format as a proof of documentary
• Step 6: Once every section is filled, check for any detail correction. Then pay fees through online payment mode and check mail for application submission confirmation
• Step 7: Once IGNOU verifies everything, they will send admission confirmation mail on your registered  email ID. 

Note: Remember to have a DEB ID before starting the application procedure.

IGNOU does not have its own scholarship policy but it has already made arrangements to provide fee concessions.
